Who is ZANDEE?

Zandile Ndebele | ZANDEE Creations

My name is Zandile Ndebele. Born in Zimbabwe in a city called Bulawayo. I moved to the UK at the age of 8. As an artist with a background in Fashion Design and industry experience in the UK and Finland I developed a passion for world building, crafting immersive emotionally driven experiences through storytelling, textiles and mixed media.

Since founding ZANDEE Creations in 2019 my work has explored memory, identity and materiality. From experimental prints and textiles to statement interior pieces and poetic visuals I create distinctive collections that invite audiences to feel, connect and reflect. My process is rooted in symbolic thinking, emotional storytelling and sensory design often drawing inspiration from everyday objects, cultural memory and personal symbolism.

I’ve developed collections such as Human, Spotted Lives Jungled Series and Framed Lives each exploring different facets of identity, connection and self-expression. My graduate collection titled Economy laid the foundation for my exploration of Zimbabwean heritage which I continue to evolve across various mediums.

With experience in print design, garment construction, sculpture and interior led textiles I welcome collaborations, commissions and creative partnerships that align with my ethos. My aim is not just to create visual work but to build emotive spaces that spark imagination and dialogue.
